The 10th WWF Bali Raises the Level of Local MSMEs and Youth

Bali – The 10th World Water Forum (WWF) in Bali is considered to be able to raise the status of local Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and local youth.

The Regional Secretary of Bali Province, Dewa Made Indra, confirmed that the 10th WWF event in Bali will involve youth and local MSMEs. According to him, an important event should not be separated from the local community. Likewise with the 10th WWF activity in Bali.

“This means that the community must benefit,” said Indra.

Local MSMEs are involved in several things, such as transportation, then hotels and restaurants that will serve dishes to the delegates. The government is committed to prioritizing the use of all products from local MSMEs in Bali.

“You can use products from outside, as long as they are not available in Bali. So, if they are still available in Bali, use them, absorb them all, so they can feel the benefits,” said Indra.

Special Staff of the PUPR Ministry for Water Resources Management, Firdaus Ali, said that the 10th WWF event in Bali brought benefits to local MSMEs.

This is because they also provide various kinds of needs such as events, clothing and gifts. Moreover, the government is also preparing everything to further encourage MSMEs to be present and actively involved.

“We prepare clothes, gifts, and we encourage MSMEs by opening a stand there, to introduce our local products,” explained Firdaus. [pt]
