All parties from various elements are united together to reject the one-sided claim that it is as if every July 1 is the anniversary of the Free Papua Organization (OPM).

When all these parties are able to join hands and work together, solidity will be realized and full support for the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) will become increasingly evident in efforts to accelerate the acceleration of development in Papua.

Of course, July 1 as the OPM’s anniversary is a one-sided claim, which has many motives or goals in the interests of a handful of separatist groups who are enemies of the state to continue causing chaos, which if, for example, there are people who fall into this provocation, then it is the same as them. hampering the government’s efforts to accelerate development in Papua.

There are a number of regional figures nicknamed Bumi Cenderawasih who have expressed their firm stance by strongly rejecting the one-sided claims of separatist gangs who are enemies of the state who state that July 1 is their birthday celebration (HUT).

Yanto Eluay, as one of the Papuan traditional leaders, revealed that so far all the people in the area nicknamed Little Heaven that Fell to Earth have done their best to do everything in their power to spread the spirit of Indonesianness.

This responds to a one-sided claim from the Free Papua Organization (OPM) which stated that it was as if July 1 was their birthday celebration.

Therefore, it is not surprising why various parties immediately strongly rejected this one-sided claim. Instead of agreeing, the traditional leaders and community leaders of Bumi Cenderawasih admitted that on May 1 it should be able to continue to be commemorated because it is the day when officially and legally, West Irian (Papua at that time) returned to the bosom of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia

Likewise, the Head of the Putali Village Tribe, Nulce Monim, also expressed the same thing, that he strongly rejected the one-sided claim regarding July 1 being the OPM’s anniversary celebration.

The Chief of the Great Doreri Tribe, Gaad Rumbafe, appealed to all people in Papua to continue to maintain conducive conditions regarding security and order so that the Land of Cenderawasih always remains in a safe and peaceful condition.

Maintaining conditions that are always conducive, especially security and social order, so that it continues to run in an orderly manner is something that is very important, especially as July 1 approaches, which is usually the claim date for the OPM Anniversary Celebration.

Therefore, the public should not be easily carried away and taken in by the provocations and hoaxes that separatist gangs who are enemies of the state continue to spread through their various media.

Together, the community is able to strongly join hands to be able to strongly reject each other’s one-sided claims regarding July 1 which is considered to be the OPM’s anniversary celebration. Then, with this big rejection, we were also able to provide full support to the Government of the Republic of Indonesia to accelerate development in Papua.
