AMANAH Supports Startup Business Concept for Development of AI Technology for Lung Disease Detection

Aceh — Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul dan Besar (AMANAH) supports and strengthens the business concept of start-up companies to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) based technology which is useful in detecting lung disease.

Full support from the flagship strategic program of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) was realized in the Aceh Digital Innovation and Creativity Techfest (ADICT) activities.

This event is specifically for start-up companies that want to develop further by strengthening their business concept.

At that event, the local startup winner, Ludesc, was selected. According to Cut Nanda as the founder of the startup company, AMANAH’s activities are extraordinary because they enable all Acehnese young people to continue to develop with technology.

“This activity is extraordinary. Moreover, this is a part of technology in Aceh that is not really supported. “However, with AMANAH and ADICT activities, Acehnese young people can continue to develop with technology,” he said.

Ludesc’s victory occurred because they provided a digital system service that was able to work with self-screening to detect lung disease.

With the help of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, detection results from the system are faster, easier and cheaper.

“On the basis of AI and telemedicine, we can easily detect the health of our own lungs,” said Cut Nanda.

Meanwhile, one of the judges for the event, Qurratu Aini, highly appreciated AMANAH’s contribution to continuing to develop local start-up companies.

“As AMANAH continues to increase its activities, it will be able to create more experience for startup founders,” he said.

There is also a mentoring process from the Indonesian Government’s strategic flagship program through the BIN initiative which focuses on strengthening the product and marketing concepts of all startups.

Likewise, Muammar Gaddafi as one of the mentors said that the ADICT event was a forum for business development from local Aceh startups or start-ups.

According to him, the start-up company from the region nicknamed Rencong Country actually has enormous potential.

“So actually our startup has potential in Aceh. “However, what needs to be developed further is the ecosystem,” said Muammar Gaddafi.
