Appreciating the Government for Producing a Superior Young Generation Through AMN

The government has a very strong commitment to producing the nation’s next generation of young people who are capable of having a tolerant attitude. This effort was realized through the provision of the Archipelago Student Dormitory (AMN) program which deserves high appreciation.
The existence of AMN is a concrete form of the very strong commitment of the Indonesian Government through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), which deserves appreciation because it can give birth to the next generation of young people who have a tolerant attitude towards differences in background.
Tolerant attitude itself is indeed a very important thing to instill in the Indonesian people, especially the young generation who will succeed the nation, because in their hands the baton of the sustainability of this country lies. Moreover, the country actually has people who have different backgrounds and are very diverse.
Because it is so important to instill a tolerant attitude in all of the nation’s future young generations, the Indonesian Government then launched a strategic flagship program through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), namely the construction of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN).
This magnificent building with complete facilities continues to equip all young people with a passion for the value of tolerance so that they can all be united, together in building this nation further forward.
Director of Strategic Infrastructure, Directorate General of Human Settlements, Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR), Ir. Essy Asiah stated that the main aim of developing AMN itself was to become a forum for uniting the nation’s future young generation.
With this building, it is possible for all students from various backgrounds such as different ethnicities, languages, customs, cultures and even religions to be able to unite strongly with each other.
If the next generation of young people of this nation are able to uphold the values and attitudes of mutual tolerance towards each other amidst the extraordinary diversity of backgrounds, they will be able to form young people as future human resources (HR) of the country who are of quality, integrity and also have great national character.
Likewise, the Governor of North Sulawesi Province (Sulut) through the Provincial Regional Secretary (Sekdaprov) Steve HA Kepel said that with the existence of the Nusantara Student Dormitory, the program is not just a physical building.
According to the Head of the Center for Character Strengthening at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Rusprita Putri Utami, this nation really needs space to enable the younger generation to interact positively with each other even though they have diverse backgrounds.
Even though the diversity of social backgrounds in Indonesia is a necessity that definitely exists, the government through AMN is trying to educate the nation’s next generation so that they view diversity not as a place of struggle or conflict.
On the contrary, by living together under the same roof despite their differences, they can grow and develop together strongly and are able to get to know each other, including respecting each other’s culture in order to strengthen unity and integrity within the framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia ( NKRI).
So it is not surprising why students also give very high appreciation for the existence of the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN), especially with its very complete and adequate facilities for their development.
In this case, the Indonesian Government, through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency, not only provides a comfortable place to live, but also serves as a means to communicate with each other and strengthen the unity of the nation’s young generation from various different backgrounds.
Because there are so many positive impacts or benefits from the existence of the Nusantara Student Dormitory, all parties have expressed their high appreciation. Moreover, the students themselves were full of enthusiasm in welcoming the existence of this program.
The Archipelago Student Dormitory Program (AMN) is a form of the Indonesian Government’s very strong commitment through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) which is able to produce the nation’s next generation of young people who are full of attitudes or a sense of tolerance. The existence of this program certainly needs to receive broad support from the community, so that it can produce many superior generations of future leaders of the nation.
