Indonesia: AMN Manado Encourages Improvement of Quality Young Human Resources
Manado – Various parties expressed their support for the construction of the Manado Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN).
Acting Regent of Minahasa, Jemmy Kumendong, expressed his support for the development of AMN. According to him, AMN can provide many benefits for students in pursuing their education.
“Of course, the Minahasa Regency Government supports the construction of the Nusantara Student Dormitory, so that it can help and provide benefits for students in pursuing their studies,” he said.
Meanwhile, Special Staff of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) Steering Committee, Father Benny Susetyo, assessed that the construction of AMN in Manado was ideal. Because, in the future AMN will not only be filled by students from Manado, but also other regions in Indonesia.
“At AMN students can learn many things, such as rhetoric, organizing, building arguments and public opinion. “So AMN is not only a place to rest, but also activities to enrich insight,” said Father Benny.
Furthermore, Romi Benny said that if you want to build a diverse Indonesia, collaboration through inclusive education like this is really needed, so that the quality of human resources with character also increases.
Previously, the Governor of North Sulawesi, Olly Dondokambey, represented by North Sulawesi Provincial Secretary Steve Kepel, expressed his thanks to the central government and all parties for the ongoing development of AMN Manado.
“Education is not just the responsibility of the government, but of all parties, including the private sector. The hope for the future is that AMN Manado will not just be a place to live but also a social, intellectual and entrepreneurial laboratory. “We are not only producing intelligent students, but we are becoming a milestone in the educational journey in the North Sulawesi region,” said Kepel.
In the future, AMN Manado, which is under the guidance of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), will be staffed by students from various regions, namely from Aceh to Papua from various ethnicities, religions, races and cultures. So, it is hoped that there will be a harmonious life that is free from radicalism. (*)
