The success of the strategic flagship program of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) through the initiation of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), namely the Nusantara Student Dormitory (AMN), was able to highlight the diversity of identities and local culture within the framework of diversity.

Indeed, people in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) have an extraordinary diversity of backgrounds. Therefore, because of this necessary nature of diversity, the Indonesian Government through BIN initiated the AMN program to continue to promote the diversity of local identities and cultures in the motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.

Implementing the motto of unity in diversity is very important, because all elements of the nation must continue to be able to unite even though they all have diverse backgrounds. In this effort, AMN succeeded in encouraging the nation’s young people to promote the diversity of their respective local identities and cultures.

The existence of the Nusantara Student Dormitory is a symbol of unity amidst Indonesia’s diversity, as well as being a home for hundreds of university students from various corners of the country.

Through guidance and training in AMN, we are able to further strengthen the sense of unity and brotherhood between young people. Apart from that, the building is also a means of character building for the younger generation.

According to the Head of the Higher Education Financing Center of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), Anton Rahmadi, there are two things that continue to be of concern to BIN as the initiator of the program. Namely related to the national insight of the Republic of Indonesia and also the value of diversity.

In the management process, AMN itself also provides guidance to its residents. For your information, previously a similar program was running successfully in the city of Surabaya, and is now underway in Manado.

AMN has indeed become the government’s flagship strategic program through the initiation of an institution led by Police General (Ret.) Prof. Dr. Budi Gunawan to hone the potential of the country’s young generation.

This program does not only focus on the academic development of students, but also aims to strengthen their spirit of unity amidst the existing diversity.

Special Staff (Stafsus) Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP), Antonius Benny Susetyo considers that AMN is very important for the Indonesian nation, because through this program students from various regions can learn from each other and grow and develop together in a very supportive environment. there is cross-cultural interaction.

They all received training not to view differences as something that separates them, but rather as a force that unites them. This is an important foundation for building the character of future leaders.

The AMN program has proven successful in highlighting the diversity of local identities and cultures within the framework of diversity because it contains students from various backgrounds who are different from each other but receive the development of national insight and the Pancasila character so that they are still able to unite to build the nation.
