Previously, AMN Development Consultant from the University of Indonesia (UI), Gumilar, said that there were four core values of multicultural education that continued to be provided in the dormitory, namely appreciation of multiculturalism, recognition of human dignity and human rights, development of responsibility for the world community, and development of human responsibility towards planet earth.
Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that AMN was filled with students from Sabang to Merauke, from Miangas to Rote Island, to get to know each other.
Jokowi also hopes that AMN residents from various tribes, religions and regions will be able to be harmonious and united.
