HLF MSP 2024, Evidence of Indonesia’s Leadership in Cross-Sectoral Solidarity

Bali – The High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF MSP) or the High-Level Forum for Multi-Party Partnerships 2024 is evidence of Indonesia’s leadership in cross-sectoral solidarity and collaboration.

This was conveyed by the Director of Foreign Policy and International Development Cooperation of the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (PPN/Bappenas) Hendra Wahanu Prabandani when met by the Media in Bali.

“Although Indonesia often hosts international events, this year’s High-Level Forum on Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships (HLF MSP) held in Bali is proof that Indonesia can also organize international activities as well as possible,” said Hendra.

HLF MSP 2024 will be real evidence of how Indonesia is able to foster multi-party partnerships, ranging from government, civil society organizations, the private sector, to academics.

“This forum is expected to be a catalyst for innovative solutions in facing global challenges, as well as strengthening Indonesia’s role as a leader in efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030,” he explained.

Carrying the theme “Strengthening Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships: Towards a Transformative Change,” HLF MSP 2024 is expected to bring together around 1,000 participants from various countries and international organizations to jointly discuss pressing global issues, including efforts to narrow the development gap between countries in the South and North, he concluded.

“We want to emphasize the importance of collaboration between stakeholders to strengthen collective action in order to ensure inclusive collaboration and cooperation, find innovative solutions to solve global problems that we know are increasingly complex,” said Hendra.

The forum, which will be held on September 1-3, 2024 in Bali, will not only continue Indonesia’s success in leading the world forum, but will also be a manifestation of Indonesia’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive development, he said.

“The previous G20 Presidency has produced the Roadmap for Stronger Recovery and Resilience in Developing Countries. HLF MSP 2024 continues the baton of what the Indonesian Government has built to date,” he added. []
