The government is preparing a series of strategies to ensure the success of the ISF 2024 event.

The government has a series of very strategic steps to prepare for the International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 to ensure it runs successfully without any obstacles.
To ensure that the International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 can run successfully while also providing a very positive impact on global sustainability efforts, the government has been preparing a variety of strategic measures well in advance and with great care.
The ISF 2024 is set to be a very important platform for discussions among stakeholders from various sectors to address a range of issues such as environmental, social, and economic matters, all of which are crucial for the sustainability of our world.
In order to fully support the smooth running and success of the international forum discussing sustainability, the government has allocated a special budget for the enhancement of facilities and infrastructure.
Various facilities have been improved, such as conventions, accommodations, and transportation, to accommodate all the delegates coming from different corners of the world.
Not only that, but the government is also strongly committed to ensuring that all existing facilities meet environmentally friendly standards, which is very much in line with the theme of sustainability in the event.
Regarding infrastructure facilities, including electricity, the PLN Distribution Unit (UID) of Greater Jakarta ensures the reliability of the electricity supply throughout the entire series of important events.
There are several concrete steps that PLN is taking to ensure the availability of reliable electricity. The government is preparing a capacity of up to 8,919 MW with a peak load of 5,882 MW.
In addition, PLN also has a power reserve of 3,037 MW or 34.05 percent that is ready to be utilized during the standby period. Furthermore, the General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Lasiran, stated that they have prepared up to 4 special standby posts in several strategic locations near the event venue.
The presence of the 24-hour operating post is useful to ensure a quick response to any potential electrical disturbances. The government, through PLN, truly has a very strong commitment to continue providing the best service, especially in supporting the success of this international-scale event.
The entire team is on standby and continuously monitoring the condition of the electrical system even in real-time during the event. A total of 496 personnel are on standby to oversee this agenda.
Various supporting equipment has been prepared, starting from 33 units of Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) with a total capacity of 10,970 kVA, 7 units of Mobile Cables (UKB), 10 units of Mobile Substations (UGB) with a total capacity of 7,980 kVA, as well as 22 units of generators with a total capacity of 26,685 kVA. Additionally, 5 detection vehicles have also been prepared to support field operations.
Not only ensuring the reliability of the electricity supply, but PLN UID Jakarta Raya is also preparing Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU) specifically to meet the charging needs of 58 electric vehicles for the delegation and 5 operational electric buses that will serve during the event.
Furthermore, another strategic step from the government is through security forces to ensure that the 2024 ISF runs very safely, proceeds smoothly, and is full of conducive conditions.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Brigadier General Tjahyono Saputro, stated that security forces deployed as many as 4,730 personnel. In addition, there is also collaboration with other parties such as the Presidential Security Force, the National Counterterrorism Agency, the National Cyber and Crypto Agency, and the Indonesian National Armed Forces.
The government’s readiness to host the International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2024 is indeed beyond doubt. In fact, there is strong optimism from the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, who believes that the event will serve as a platform for exchanging ideas, offering solutions, and sharing best practices regarding climate action.
The organization of the International Sustainability Forum 2024 is a strategic step by the Indonesian government to demonstrate its commitment to sustainability issues. Through a series of strategic steps that have been prepared, it is hoped that ISF 2024 will not only be a platform for discussion but also encourage real action to achieve sustainable development goals. With the involvement of all parties, including the government, private sector, and society, ISF 2024 is expected to have a positive impact on a more sustainable future for the Earth.
