President Jokowi Supports Improving the Quality of Aceh’s Human Resources Through the AMANAH Program
Jakarta – President Joko Widodo’s commitment to improving the quality of human resources (HR) in Aceh continues to be realized through the Aneuk Muda Muda Aceh Unggul dan Hebat (AMANAH) Program. This program, initiated by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), aims to provide training and coaching to the young generation of Aceh to become independent, competent, and professional individuals.
The Head of the Syiah Kuala University Business Development Agency, A. Syaifullah Muhammad, stated that the AMANAH program is one of the government’s efforts to improve the capabilities of the young generation of Aceh.
“Through the AMANAH program, President Jokowi shows his commitment to providing the young generation of Aceh with comprehensive training. This aims to make them independent and competitive in the world of work and the creative industry,” he said.
The AMANAH program not only focuses on improving skills, but also prioritizes character building, improving product quality, and access to national and international markets. Syaifullah said that this program has successfully reached 20,100 young people throughout Aceh, with a very positive response from the community.
“This program is very comprehensive. Not only does it train skills, but it also improves product quality and opens market access for young people in Aceh. With the support of adequate facilities, this program is able to provide great opportunities for young people to develop,” he added.
The AMANAH program also highlights aspects of Aceh’s culture and history through various creative activities, such as the Muslim Fashion Fest and Aceh Barista Champ. These two events not only showcase the creativity of young people in Aceh, but also introduce Acehnese culture on the national and international stage.
“Events such as the Muslim Fashion Fest and Aceh Barista Champ show the cultural side of Aceh to the world. This is one way to raise Aceh’s name at the global level,” said Syaifullah.
The AMANAH building, which is the center of this activity, is expected to be inaugurated by President Jokowi in October 2024. However, the facilities have begun to be used by young people to create and market their products nationally and globally. “AMANAH Building is a major investment from the central and regional governments, and has been used by young people to develop their potential,” he explained.
Syaifullah also encouraged young people in Aceh to continue to dream and work hard to achieve their big dreams. He hopes that the young generation of Aceh can make the most of this program to become quality human resources and be able to compete in the global era.
