President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) continues to support the development of the creative economy in Indonesia, especially Aceh. As an effort to support this, Aneuk Muda Aceh Unggul Hebat (AMANAH) inaugurated a new building equipped with various supporting facilities. This building is expected to become a center of innovation and development for the Acehnese millennial generation, who are encouraged to take part in the growth of the regional creative economy.
The new AMANAH building provides various sophisticated facilities specifically designed to support the creativity of the young generation of Aceh. These facilities support various training and collaboration programs in various fields, including digital content, music, audio production, making robots, and others. The podcast room in the AMANAH Building is divided into two parts, namely the shooting studio in front and the operator room in the back to adjust audio, camera switcher, and online recording and broadcasting. This facility is designed with professional equipment, including cameras, computers, and aesthetic lighting, allowing for the production of high-quality podcast content.
One of the managers of this facility, Thamlica, is optimistic that this facility will encourage young Acehnese to be more creative in producing digital content. With this podcast room, they hope to be able to channel various creative ideas and concepts and raise relevant issues in society.
AMANAH also facilitates the young generation of Aceh to work in the fields of music and audio production. This music studio is open to young Acehnese who want to form a band or produce their own songs, and is equipped for various needs such as voice over, dubbing, song recording, and other audio production. The room includes several sections such as a rehearsal room, vocal room, and monitoring room, all of which are designed professionally.
One of the training participants, Ridho, stated that for the first time, Acehnese children could enjoy a recording studio that had very adequate equipment, even quite professional. Ridho added that the facilities in the AMANAH Building, especially in the field of audio production, are the most advanced and complete in Aceh today. The existence of this music studio greatly helps local audio production actors to produce more professional work.
In addition, amidst the challenges faced by students in the field of science and technology, the AMANAH Building has emerged as a solution for the young generation of Aceh. Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) UIN Ar Raniry, Dr. Ir. M Dirhamsyah, MT, IPU, said that one of the major challenges faced by students is the lack of adequate laboratory equipment. This hampers the teaching and learning process and research development that students should be able to do. Limited information that is often late is also a problem in itself. Students often feel pressured because they have to catch up in terms of the very rapid development of science and technology.
Dirhamsyah emphasized the importance of the presence of experts from AMANAH who can be recruited to teach and provide guidance to students. With this collaboration, students not only gain theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge that will be very useful when they enter the world of work.
The presence of the AMANAH Building is expected to bridge this gap with laboratory facilities and workspaces equipped with modern equipment. With adequate facilities, students can collaborate with AMANAH, utilize the available equipment, and build relationships with experts who can guide them in developing better technology products.
AMANAH’s new building with adequate facilities provides much-needed support for Aceh’s young generation to develop in the creative economy sector. These facilities are expected to facilitate the creation of innovation and creative collaboration. With full support from the government and various parties, AMANAH is optimistic that Aceh’s millennial generation will be able to contribute to bringing the region’s creative economy to a brighter future.
