To ensure that the event runs safely and orderly, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto stated that the security forces had made thorough preparations. “The TNI and Polri have mitigated potential threats, both before, during, and after the inauguration of the president and vice president,” he said.
General Agus also emphasized that the TNI and Polri have worked well together to maintain order, so that the public can feel comfortable while participating in the celebration. Security has been tightened in strategic areas, and all personnel are on standby to anticipate any possibilities that could disrupt the inauguration and people’s party.
