President Prabowo Instructs Ministries and Institutions to Move Quickly to Make the Free Nutritious Meal Program a Success
Jakarta – President Prabowo Subianto instructed all ministries and institutions to move quickly to make the Free Nutritious Meal Program a success, which will be launched in early 2025.
This program is designed to improve public welfare, especially for children and pregnant women.
“Then the nutritious meal program, the Head of the National Nutrition Agency, and all Ministries/Institutions to prepare, we will start immediately by moving quickly, right on target, measurable, but don’t be afraid of difficulties,” said President Prabowo
President Prabowo emphasized that the implementation of this program requires careful planning and proper management of resources. Although it cannot be completed in a short time, the President is optimistic that this program will achieve the target that has been set.
“I’m not saying that this can be completed in 1-2 weeks or three months. None of us have the Prophet Solomon’s stick, but we can count, we can manage, allocate funds, we can mobilize resources and we will achieve the target that we have set. I am absolutely sure, I am betting my leadership. For me, nutritious food for children, pregnant women is strategic. Those who do not support this, please leave the government that I lead,” he said.
In addition to the MBG program, Prabowo also highlighted the importance of the education sector which he said should be a top priority.
“Enlightening the life of the nation is absolute, education for us is a very high priority,” he said.
Because, President Prabowo sees the education budget as one of the highest, so it needs to be continuously optimized.
