Various Circles Support President Prabowo’s Firmness in Eradicating Online Gambling to the Roots
Jakarta – Cyber Law Experts give their full support to President Prabowo Subianto who is firm in eradicating online gambling practices. This step is considered important to maintain the social, economic, and moral stability of the nation.
Cyber Law Expert from the University of Indonesia, Intan Pratama said that his party greatly appreciates the government’s quick steps in eradicating online gambling both in government and outside government.
“The government’s steps in exposing online gambling practices within the government should be appreciated. This transparency is important so that the public understands the government’s commitment to taking firm action against violations of the law,” said Intan.
Intan continued, the government must continue to strengthen legal sanctions so that they serve as a warning to online gambling perpetrators, so that a conducive and safe atmosphere is created.
“The government needs to continue to strengthen legal sanctions so that they can serve as a clear warning to all state apparatus, so that a clean government is created that is free from illegal activities,” continued Intan.
Meanwhile, the Executive Director of the Indonesian Digital Consumer Institute (LKDI), Abdul Kholik also said that President Prabowo’s policy of taking firm action against online gambling perpetrators, shows a strong commitment to protecting the public from the negative impacts caused by this illegal practice.
“I appreciate and fully support President Prabowo’s firmness and determination in eradicating online gambling,” said Abdul.
Abdul also considered the firmness of President Prabowo’s government in eradicating online gambling in government circles to be a very important step in maintaining the integrity and morality of state officials.
“The Prabowo government’s swift action and firmness were proven in the arrest of dozens of employees of the Ministry of Communication and Information who were involved in cases of protecting thousands of online gambling sites,” said Abdul.
President Prabowo’s policy of eradicating online gambling is a very necessary step to protect the public from the negative impacts of gambling in cyberspace. With the support of various parties, it is hoped that this step can strengthen the legal system and create a safer and more moral Indonesia.
