5 Statements by Prabowo During 100-Day Performance Evaluation

President Prabowo Subianto held a cabinet meeting to discuss the 100-day evaluation of his government’s work. Prabowo spoke about the Free Nutritious Meals program and budget efficiency.

The meeting took place at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (1/22/2025). The meeting was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, coordinating ministers, ministers, deputy ministers, and heads of agencies. Here are some of Prabowo’s instructions:

  1. Prabowo Feels the Cabinet is Working Compactly

In his introduction to the cabinet meeting, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation to all levels of the Red and White Cabinet for their performance in the first 3 months of his government. Prabowo said the government could be proud that its current performance showed results that were right on target.

“Last October 20, then you were inaugurated the next day on the 21st, the deputy ministers in the afternoon. So we officially carried out the mandate from the people for 3 months. For that, although I have never worked with a target of hundreds of days or months, but in any case it is a milestone, a stage that we have completed,” said Prabowo.

  1. Prabowo: Other Countries are at War, We Can Maintain Peace

President Prabowo is grateful that Indonesia has been able to maintain a conducive atmosphere in the country. Whereas out there, many countries are in conflict.

“This time we have succeeded in implementing a stable, calm, cool situation, in the midst of many worlds being hit by conflict, tension, crisis, even war, we have been able to maintain peace, calm, and peace in our country,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo and his government have been around for three months. He considered the government reliable in running state administration.

“I also thank you for giving to the people in the past three months, our policies are policies that side with the people, side with the interests of the country,” said Prabowo.

  1. Order Action Against ‘Stubborn’ Companies

President Prabowo Subianto asked law enforcement officials to take action against companies that violate the rules. Especially violating land and forestry provisions.

“I have also given a decision to law enforcement officials, the Attorney General, BPKP (Financial and Development Supervisory Agency), the Chief of Police, and the TNI Commander to enforce the law and regulations, especially for companies that violate land and forestry provisions,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo reminded that existing regulations must be obeyed. He said there was no special treatment for any company.

  1. Ask Staff to Save Budget

In his introductory speech to the cabinet meeting, Prabowo also touched on the budget. Prabowo has reviewed the budget in each ministry and agency. Prabowo said that he did not provide space for ceremonial events and official travel.

Prabowo said that the budget focus is to support the food and energy self-sufficiency program, as well as technological breakthroughs. Prabowo will cross out the budget outside of that.

“I reiterate that things outside of that, which are ceremonial, ceremonies, this birthday, that birthday, today, that day, we do not budget,” said Prabowo.

“Historical celebrations, birthday celebrations, do it simply in the office, in a room, if necessary 15 people, the rest vicon (video conference),” he said.

Prabowo also said that he would reduce the budget for official travel for ministries and agencies. According to him, Indonesia could save tens of trillions and use it for development.

  1. Target All Children to Get Nutritious Food by the End of 2025

. Prabowo targets that by the end of 2025 all Indonesian children will get nutritious food.

“Our Nutritious Meal Program is running, thank God we launched it on January 6. Until now, it has successfully served 650 thousand of our children in 31 provinces,” said Prabowo.

Prabowo said that the smooth running of this program is inseparable from the hard work of all parties. He mentioned the role of ministers to the TNI-Polri.

“This is thanks to the hard work of many parties. Head of the Nutrition Agency, his staff. Minister of Home Affairs, Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Minister of Bappenas, Minister of Villages, Minister of BUMN, Minister of Health, TNI Commander, Chief of Police. School principals, governors-regents. Of course the Minister of Finance,” said Prabowo.
