Indonesia: Public Satisfaction Drives Government to Work Better

The government welcomes the survey results showing a high level of public satisfaction with the performance of President Prabowo Subianto and the Red and White Cabinet in the first 100 days of his term. Based on the survey conducted by Litbang Kompas and Indikator Politik Indonesia, the level of public satisfaction was recorded at 80.9 percent and 79.3 percent respectively.

“These results reflect the people’s trust and support for the steps taken by the government in implementing the national priority agenda,” said Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat, Yusuf Permana, in his written statement on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Yusuf also said that the results of this survey are a driving force for the government to continue to improve performance. “This public satisfaction will certainly be a motivation as well as a responsibility to continue to work smarter, harder, consistently, and innovatively in meeting expectations and improving people’s welfare,” he continued.

In the first 100 days, President Prabowo is said to have taken a number of strategic policies, including intensifying efforts to eradicate corruption. In addition, the government has also initiated flagship programs such as the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG), which aims to improve the quality of life of the community, especially the younger generation.

The government, according to Yusuf, realizes that there is still a lot of work to be done. “The government will never be satisfied and will not be complacent with the results of this survey. The government will continue to strengthen coordination between institutions, maintain political stability, increase transparency, efficiency, and accountability, and ensure that every policy taken must side with the interests of the people,” he said.

At the end of his statement, Yusuf expressed his appreciation for the support of the community. “The government would like to thank all Indonesian people for their support and trust. The government is committed to continuing to work non-stop to realize an advanced, just, and prosperous Indonesia,” he concluded.
