Government Ensures MBG Program is Inclusive and Increases Solidarity

Jakarta – The government continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving public welfare through the Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG). This program is designed not only to meet the nutritional needs of the community, but also to strengthen social solidarity and inclusion.

Spokesperson for the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), Philips Jusario Vermonte, emphasized the importance of these two values when reviewing the implementation of the MBG Program at State Special School (SLB) 5 Jakarta, Tuesday (20/1). During the visit, Philips witnessed firsthand how this program is implemented, especially in supporting children with special needs.

“At State Special School 5 in Slipi, we can see that the commitment of the Free Nutritious Meals Program is very prominent in the aspect of inclusion,” said Philips.

He added that the MBG Program is not only about providing nutritious food, but also has a wider social impact.

“President Prabowo Subianto once stated that the Free Nutritious Meal Program is not just a meal event, but there are many participants. From the beneficiary side, this program emphasizes inclusion and solidarity,” he continued.

On the other hand, Member of Committee III of the Regional Representative Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia, Arianto Kogoya, expressed his hope that this program would be implemented in the Papua Mountains soon. According to Arianto, the region requires special attention to improve the nutritional intake of the younger generation.

“We really appreciate this program from the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The intention is very noble, namely preparing a superior young generation in 2045 through good nutrition,” said Arianto.

He emphasized that with sufficient nutrition, the young generation of Indonesia will have great potential to realize the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

In addition, Arianto reminded that the implementation of programs such as MBG must pay attention to the cultural and geographical diversity of each region. Thus, the benefits will be felt evenly, especially in areas with limited access to nutritious food sources.

The MBG program not only aims to improve health, but also to create a culture of mutual cooperation in the community. Through cooperation between the central government, local governments, and the community, this program is expected to become a symbol of national solidarity.

“We must utilize this program to strengthen social relations in the community. Mutual cooperation is the main value of this nation, and MBG is one of its real manifestations,” said Philips Jusario Vermonte.

With adequate nutrition, Indonesian children are expected to grow into a healthy, intelligent, and productive generation. The government is optimistic that through inclusive programs such as MBG, the vision of Indonesia Emas 2045 is getting closer to reality. ‘

Through sustainable implementation, the Free Nutritious Meal Program is believed to be able to become one of the important milestones in the history of national development. Not only does it meet the basic needs of the community, but it also strengthens the values of inclusion and solidarity that are the foundation of national life.
