Cross-Agency Synergy Accelerates President Prabowo’s Efforts in Economic Equality

Economic equality is one of the main focuses of President Prabowo Subianto’s administration. Amidst the growing global challenges, the government has demonstrated its commitment to ensuring that all levels of Indonesian society can enjoy inclusive economic growth. In achieving this goal, cross-agency synergy is key. Collaboration between ministries, state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and the private sector is a solid foundation for accelerating efforts to achieve economic equality.
BUMN Minister Erick Thohir emphasized that the ministry he leads is ready to be a support system for other technical ministries. With the very large capacity of BUMN, both in terms of resources and networks spread throughout Indonesia, BUMN has a strategic role in supporting government programs. Erick said, The capacity of the Ministry of BUMN as a support system for technical ministries is ready to commit and fully support all programs that have become the focus of President Prabowo’s administration. BUMN is ready to collaborate intensively with various ministries, agencies, and institutions in realizing programs for national economic recovery and improvement.
This commitment is not only seen from various strategic projects carried out by BUMN, but also from how BUMN becomes a driving force in supporting post-pandemic economic recovery. One real example is the infrastructure project spread across various regions, which not only creates jobs but also improves connectivity between regions. This allows the distribution of goods and services to be more efficient, thereby reducing economic disparities between regions.
Not only BUMN, the Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development under the leadership of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) also plays an important role in supporting economic equality. AHY emphasized the importance of synergy between the development of defense infrastructure and improving the welfare of soldiers. AHY emphasized that all parties must unite in the spirit of advancing Indonesia’s defense and security. The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development is ready to support this synergy.
This statement emphasizes that economic development cannot be separated from the defense and security aspects. Solid and modern infrastructure in border areas, for example, not only functions as a support for national defense, but also as an economic driver in areas that have so far been less touched by development. Improving the welfare of soldiers is also expected to have a direct impact on the surrounding community, creating a healthier and more inclusive economic ecosystem.
This synergy not only involves government institutions, but also the private sector and universities. One interesting example is the commitment of PT Antam UBPN Kolaka in empowering local communities through various mentoring programs. Representative of PT Antam UBPN Kolaka, Syahdjan, said that his party had held a mentoring program for dozens of MSME actors, especially in the grocery store business sector in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. This program was carried out in collaboration with Halu Oleo University (UHO).
According to him, the synergy between UHO and the community is a real manifestation of joint efforts to build a sustainable economy. This program is a real example of how cross-sector collaboration can create a significant impact on society. By empowering MSMEs, local communities are not only given financial capital, but also ongoing mentoring so that they can manage their businesses independently and develop amidst market competition.
Empowering MSMEs is indeed one of the main strategies in economic equality. As the backbone of the national economy, MSMEs have great potential to drive the local economy. However, this potential can only be realized if there is synergy between various parties, starting from the government, BUMN, to the private sector and academics. Support in the form of mentoring, training, and access to the market is absolutely necessary.
The success of this cross-agency collaboration shows that synergy is not just a slogan, but a real strategy to face economic challenges. The government under President Prabowo’s leadership has shown firm and measured steps in building an inclusive and sustainable economy. In this context, cross-agency synergy is not only important, but also a must.
