Cross-Agency Synergy to Realize Economic Equality in the Era of President Prabowo

JAKARTA – The government continues to strengthen cross-agency synergy to accelerate economic equality throughout Indonesia. Collaboration between ministries, SOEs, the private sector, and academics is the main strategy in encouraging more inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

SOE Minister Erick Thohir emphasized that the ministry he leads is ready to be the main supporter for other technical ministries in realizing President Prabowo’s vision of economic equality. “The capacity of the Ministry of SOEs as a support system for technical ministries is ready to commit and fully support all programs of President Prabowo’s government,” said Erick.

He added that SOEs will collaborate intensively with various parties in carrying out strategic projects, including infrastructure development in various regions. “We want to ensure that the projects we run not only improve connectivity and distribution efficiency, but also open up jobs and accelerate regional economic growth,” he continued.

Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) emphasized the importance of synergy between defense infrastructure development and soldier welfare as part of the economic equality strategy. “All parties must unite in the spirit of advancing Indonesia’s defense and security. The Coordinating Ministry for Infrastructure and Regional Development is ready to support this synergy,” said AHY.

He explained that infrastructure in border areas not only functions as a support for national defense, but also plays a role in driving the local economy. “Improving soldier welfare is expected to have a direct impact on the surrounding community, creating a healthier and more inclusive economic ecosystem,” he added.

Not only the government, the private sector also plays a role in efforts to achieve economic equality. Representative of PT Antam UBPN Kolaka, Syahdjan, said that his party had held a mentoring program for MSMEs in Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. “We have provided mentoring to dozens of MSMEs, especially in the grocery store business sector, in collaboration with Halu Oleo University (UHO),” he said.

According to him, the synergy between the academic world and the community is a real example of how cross-sector collaboration can create a positive impact on the local economy. “This program not only provides financial capital, but also ongoing assistance so that MSMEs can develop amidst market competition,” he continued.

Empowering MSMEs is one of the main strategies in economic equality, considering its important role as the backbone of the national economy. The success of this cross-agency synergy shows that economic equality is not just discourse, but a real step that is carried out firmly by the government under the leadership of President Prabowo.
