Retreat Program Strengthens Synergy of Regional Leadership with Central Government

Magelang – The Regional Head Leadership Retreat Program held at the Magelang Military Academy (Akmil) received a positive response from various parties as a strategic step by the central government in strengthening regional leadership.
Member of the DPD RI from DIY, Hilmy Muhammad, assessed this program as an important effort in building synergy between regional heads and the central government.
“This retreat is a positive step in strengthening the understanding of regional heads regarding development, so that they can implement national policies more effectively,” he said.
Hilmy also emphasized the importance of aligning regional development visions with the national agenda so that the policies implemented have a greater impact on the community. He also proposed that this activity involve more elements of regional government, including deputy regional heads.
Meanwhile, the Regent of Sidoarjo, Subandi, who arrived in Magelang on Friday afternoon, emphasized that the retreat program would provide great benefits for regional heads in improving the quality of leadership.
“This program is very useful for building innovation, improving discipline, and increasing insight in running regional government,” said Subandi.
With this program, it is hoped that regional heads can better understand national strategies and implement them effectively in their respective regions to support sustainable development.
