Dark Indonesia Action Threatens National Stability
By Rido Saputra
The government is fully committed to maintaining national stability from threats that have the potential to disrupt order and national unity. The “Dark Indonesia” action that occurred in several cities is not just a form of expression, but a provocative movement that seeks to create instability in society. Therefore, the government is taking firm action to ensure that security and order are maintained.
Indonesia is a democratic country that upholds freedom of speech, but this freedom should not be used as an excuse to create chaos. The government of President Prabowo Subianto will continue to firmly enforce the law against movements that have the potential to damage national stability. The public is urged not to be influenced by the propaganda of groups that want to disrupt the national situation. This kind of movement only worsens social conditions and harms the people as a whole.
IPB Rector, Arif Satria, emphasized that the government is very responsive to social dynamics and continues to invite the public to remain optimistic about the future of the nation. The government has opened various communication channels so that the aspirations of the people can be conveyed properly without having to go through destructive actions. This proves that the government has listened to and responded to the people’s needs in a real way, so there is no reason for certain groups to take actions that only worsen the situation.
Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Cucun Ahmad Syamsurijal, assessed that the “Dark Indonesia” movement is more inclined towards provocation that actually worsens the situation rather than providing real solutions for the nation. The government has worked hard to meet the needs of the people, so this destructive movement must be rejected because it is contrary to the spirit of healthy democracy. This kind of action will only damage the social order and trigger unrest in society.
Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, emphasized that the government has taken concrete steps in following up on various inputs from the community. Dialogue remains the main path in resolving national problems, not actions that have the potential to disrupt public order. The government ensures that every policy taken always considers the interests of the people and will not allow parties who want to divide the nation to act without consequences.
The “Dark Indonesia” movement has also been in the spotlight of international media trying to build a negative narrative about Indonesia. However, the government remains steadfast in maintaining a positive image of the nation and ensuring that stability is maintained. This irresponsible action has the potential to reduce investor confidence and harm national economic growth. Therefore, the public is expected to continue to support the government’s steps in maintaining national stability and not get caught up in the propaganda of groups that want to disrupt the situation.
Often, this kind of movement is exploited by certain parties who want to create divisions in society. The government will not allow provocations that can damage unity and hinder national development to develop without supervision. Therefore, it is important for the public to be more vigilant against propaganda that aims to disrupt public order and fully support the government’s efforts to maintain security.
The government invites the public to remain critical but constructive in expressing their opinions. Official channels such as dialogue forums and public consultations are much more effective in voicing aspirations compared to street actions that only create unrest. With good communication, national stability can be maintained and development can proceed according to plan. The government will continue to communicate with various elements of society to ensure that every aspiration can be accommodated in the right way.
The government also strengthens public communication so that the public gets accurate information and is not easily fooled by misleading propaganda. The media has a big responsibility in ensuring that the information circulating is not twisted for the interests of certain groups. With transparent information, the public can more easily understand government policies and is not easily provoked by movements that try to create instability. Therefore, the role of the media in presenting facts objectively is very important to support the government’s efforts in maintaining national stability. The government will continue to increase engagement with the community, especially the younger generation, so that they are not easily influenced by misleading narratives. Discussion forums and public consultations will be increased to strengthen open and constructive communication.
