Indonesia will host the 19th Conference of the Union of Parliaments of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (PUIC) which is scheduled to take place on 12–15 May 2025 at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta.

The Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Mardani Ali Sera, said that the theme of this conference is “Good Governance and Strong Institutions as Pillars of Resilience”.
He emphasized that Indonesia will focus on three main things: promoting peace and harmony between OIC member states, increasing cooperation in various fields including economic, social, and cultural, and paying special attention to the Palestinian issue.
“Palestine is what we will focus on to have an agreement that can help our brothers and sisters in need,” said Mardani.
He also mentioned that several ambassadors from OIC member countries have expressed their enthusiasm to attend this conference.
The Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, emphasized that hosting PUIC is an honor and a great responsibility for Indonesia.
