All Regional Police around the forum location, including elite units such as Densus 88 and Brimob, are prepared to ensure the safe and comfortable presence of the delegates. Cross-sector synergy is key in supporting the security tasks carried out by the Police. This commitment reflects Indonesia’s readiness to maintain its reputation as a credible host of international forums.

More than just a protocol activity, the implementation of the 19th PUIC forum has a high strategic value in the context of geopolitics and relations between Islamic countries. The Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, stated that this forum strengthens Indonesia’s position as a moral leader in the Islamic world while also being a diplomatic bridge that upholds the values of democracy, tolerance, and cooperation between nations. The involvement of parliaments from dozens of OIC member countries shows that Indonesia is trusted as a safe and productive dialogue space in discussing crucial issues such as Palestine, peace in the Middle East, food security, and digital transformation in developing countries.
In terms of substance, the 19th PUIC forum will discuss various important agendas that have a direct impact on global socio-political conditions, such as efforts to promote global justice, strengthen the role of women in parliament, and collaboration in the fields of education and innovation. The Chairperson of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Mardani Ali Sera, views this forum as an important momentum to build a common view between Islamic countries regarding a more peaceful and just world future. In addition, this meeting also opens up concrete opportunities for increasing trade relations, cultural exchanges, and investment between member countries.
Optimal security by the National Police is an integral part of ensuring the smooth running and success of this forum. The success of the security is not only a matter of technical and logistical matters, but also shows Indonesia’s capacity to ensure security for various international activities. This forum will present high-level delegates, including parliamentary speakers, political figures, and senior officials from OIC countries. Therefore, security is comprehensive, utilizing modern monitoring technology, strengthening intelligence patrols, and emergency communication systems that are ready to be used at any time.
