Cross-Sector Collaboration Key to Smooth Revoting Election Implementation Without Disruption
BANDAR LAMPUNG – The implementation of the Re-voting (PSU) in various regions took place orderly without disruption thanks to the synergy of cross-sectors that was maintained in every stage of democracy.
The Pesawaran Police showed concrete steps to ensure the smooth running of the PSU, not only technical security, but also health support for personnel on duty.
The Pesawaran Police Health Service Sub-task provided medical services in the field during the recapitulation plenary at the district level at the Emersia Hotel, Bandar Lampung, some time ago.
Head of Health Service of the Pesawaran Police, Penata dr. Ratna Minanda F., led services directly such as health education, blood pressure and physical examinations, to the distribution of vitamins and medicines.
“This is a form of our concern to ensure that personnel remain in prime condition while securing this important stage of democracy. Prevention is part of precision service,” said dr. Ratna.
She emphasized that all personnel who were examined were in good health and ready to carry out their duties.
The commitment to maintaining the integrity of the PSU was also reflected in the escorting of logistics distribution on Sunday night (25/5/2025), when ballot boxes from Way Khilau District were escorted to the KPU Pesawaran logistics warehouse.
Police personnel together with the TNI and local government ensured that the distribution was safe and in accordance with procedures.
The National Police are strongly committed to maintaining security and order at every stage of the election, including escorting logistics that require cross-agency cooperation.
The synergy between the TNI, Polri and local governments is the main force in creating a peaceful and dignified democracy.
Meanwhile, the KPU and Bawaslu also demonstrated their commitment to maintaining the quality and integrity of the election.
A number of concrete steps were taken as evidence of the government’s success in maintaining a conducive, fair and democratic PSU process.
The Chairman of Bawaslu RI, Rahmat Bagja, appreciated the conduciveness that took place during the PSU in various regions.
He said that the Pilkada vulnerability index showed a downward trend thanks to the synergy of intensive supervision between Bawaslu, security forces, and the community.
“We should be grateful that the situation leading up to the PSU is quite conducive. We must maintain this together so that there are no violations that harm the democratic process,” he said.
In the same vein, the Head of the Lampung Province KPU, Erwan Bustami, emphasized that the implementation of the revote and vote count went well and smoothly.
“We ensure that every stage of the PSU runs on time and in accordance with applicable legal provisions. The entire process has been well administered and documented. This is a manifestation of our commitment to maintaining the integrity of the Pilkada,” said Erwan. (*)
