Jakarta – World investment figure and founder of Bridgewater Associates, Ray Dalio, has reaffirmed his strategic commitment to Danantara Indonesia, as part of his contribution to driving the transformation of the Indonesian economy towards a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable direction.
“Indonesia is a country with great potential and strong momentum. I see Danantara as a platform capable of bridging the needs of domestic economic transformation with global investment opportunities,” said Dalio.
Dalio said that there has been no change in his relationship with Danantara. He remains a full supporter of the institution’s vision and mission.
“I remain a loyal supporter of Danantara Indonesia’s mission,” said Ray Dalio.
Ray Dalio’s involvement in Danantara is not merely symbolic. Over the past year, Danantara Indonesia has benefited greatly from Dalio’s strategic thinking and global perspective.
His input and guidance are considered to have had a significant impact in directing Danantara’s journey as a long-term oriented state investment management institution.
On the same occasion, Dalio also emphasized that his role as an informal advisor has not changed, and is still carried out with full commitment.
“My involvement as an advisor remains the same, and has not changed, is voluntary, and is unpaid. Danantara Indonesia fully respects and appreciates this contribution,” he explained.
Dalio often provides insight into global investment strategies, risk mitigation, and long-term thinking in building financial institutions that are stable and adaptive to the dynamics of the world economy.
Meanwhile, Danantara’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Rosan Roeslani, said that his party had had many discussions with Ray Dalio.
“Today we discussed online, discussing a number of strategic steps forward. This collaboration is one of the main strengths in realizing Danantara’s great mission,” Rosan wrote on Rosan’s official verified account @rosanroeslani.
