Dewi Puspitorini Offers Inclusive Vision and Digitalization for the Future of the UI Alumni Association
DEPOK – The election of the Chairperson of the UI Alumni Association for the 2025–2028 period is a strategic opportunity for University of Indonesia alumni to determine the direction of organizational transformation. Amidst the increasingly dynamic competition, Dr. Dewi Puspitorini, SpP, MARS, presents a progressive vision, emphasizing inclusivity, collaboration, and strengthening the role of alumni in national development.

“UI Alumni Association must be a big home for all alumni, a place to exchange ideas, grow together, and make real contributions,” said Dewi.
Dewi’s commitment to organizational renewal is reflected in her plan to implement a total digitalization of the ILUNI system. Through the UI Connect platform, Dewi aims to build a digital ecosystem that is active and connected 24/7, facilitating collaboration between alumni without the constraints of space and time. This strategy also signals UI Alumni Association’s readiness to embrace the era of comprehensive digital transformation.
Support for Dewi came from various alumni figures, including Dr. Wawan Mulyawan, Chairperson of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia (ILUNI).
“Dewi has managerial capacity and extensive experience in the healthcare sector. She understands the challenges and needs of today’s alumni organizations,” Wawan concluded.
In addition to digitalization, Dewi also focuses on women’s empowerment. Through the women’s leadership program, she encourages the active involvement of female alumni in various strategic national sectors. This step demonstrates Dewi’s commitment to the principle of sustainable equality.

“ILUNI UI must be an open and trustworthy organization. Good governance is the foundation of strong alumni participation,” Dewi emphasized.
With a track record as a pulmonologist and hospital manager, Dewi demonstrates her ability to combine strategic vision and professional execution. The ILUNI UI election, which will be held via e-voting on August 23-24, 2025, is a crucial opportunity for alumni to present new leadership that is transformative, united, and has a broad impact.
