Dr. Dewi Puspitorini’s Work Program Affirms ILUNI’s Inclusive Leadership Spirit

Depok – The election for Chairperson of the University of Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI) for the 2025–2028 period is underway with renewed vigor. One candidate who has attracted attention is Dr. Dewi Puspitorini, Sp.P., M.A.R.S., M.H.—a pulmonologist known for her active advocacy for public health and strong sense of inclusive leadership.

Dr. Dewi has officially registered as a candidate for Chairperson of ILUNI UI and received ballot number 6. She carries a bold vision: “Building a united, progressive, inclusive ILUNI UI that has a real impact on alumni, alma mater, and the nation, towards a Golden Indonesia 2045.”

The Chairperson of ILUNI UI, Dr. Wawan Mulyawan, expressed his support for Dr. Dewi, citing her relevant vision and ability to unite diverse alumni backgrounds.

“Dewi is a figure who is able to embrace diverse faculties and generations, and deeply understands the challenges faced by alumni today,” said Dr. Wawan.

Dr. Dewi herself is no stranger to the world of community service and organizations. Since her college days, she has been active in various humanitarian and health activities. Now, with extensive experience and networks, she is ready to go further to make ILUNI UI a stronger and more impactful organization.

To achieve her vision, Dr. Dewi has five main missions. First, to completely digitize the ILUNI system to make it more transparent and efficient. Second, to strengthen the alumni network globally. Third, to launch a sustainable alumni empowerment program, particularly in the areas of welfare and health. Fourth, to make a real contribution to building a healthier and more prosperous Indonesia. And fifth, to advance women’s empowerment, starting from the UI alumni community.

Dr. Dewi also emphasized the importance of transparent, accountable, and responsive organizational governance to alumni needs. She wants to ensure that ILUNI UI is not only a gathering place for alumni, but also a platform for them to work together to make a positive impact on society.

“It’s time for Alumni Association of the University of Indonesia (Alumni Association of the University of Indonesia) to emerge as an alumni organization that is not only solid but also inspiring. Gender equality, inclusion, and cross-generational collaboration must be the spirit of this organization,” said Dr. Dewi.

With the tagline “U&I Guyub – U and I become Us,” Dr. Dewi presents a fresh and promising spirit of togetherness. She believes that alumni togetherness can be a powerful force in addressing the challenges of the times and contributing to the future of Indonesia.
