Dewi Puspitorini Promotes Total Digitalization of the UI Alumni Association
Jakarta – Dr. Dewi Puspitorini, SpP, MARS, is championing the spirit of change and innovation in the election of the UI Alumni Association Chairperson (Pemila). Pursuing a grand vision titled “Total Digitalization of the UI Alumni Association,” Dewi presented five main missions that represent the strategic needs of University of Indonesia alumni in the era of digital transformation and global collaboration.
These five missions include the total digitalization of the ILUNI system through the utilization of the UI Connect platform, strengthening the global alumni network, sustainable empowerment of alumni, particularly in the areas of health and well-being, making concrete contributions to a healthier and more prosperous Indonesia, and mainstreaming women’s empowerment, starting from the UI alumni community.
“The UI Alumni Association must be an example of a transparent, accountable, and inclusive alumni organization. With more than 300,000 UI alumni in various strategic sectors, our potential contribution to the nation is enormous,” Dewi stated in an open discussion forum with alumni.
Dewi believes that through system digitization and the use of information technology, the UI Alumni Association (Alumni Association) can strengthen connections between alumni across generations and disciplines, while simultaneously facilitating the management of strategic programs that directly impact society.
“A concrete manifestation of this idea is the optimization of UI Connect as a professional and social networking space for alumni. This not only unites the potential of superior human resources, but also serves as a gateway for collaboration with the government, the business world, and civil society,” explained Dewi.
Support for Dewi also came from various parties. The Chairperson of the UI Alumni Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Wawan Mulyawan, openly expressed his commitment to supporting Dewi’s path to leadership of the Alumni Association.
“I invite all parties who agree with Dr. Dewi’s efforts and programs to support this initiative. She has an outstanding track record and a vision that aligns with the needs of today’s UI alumni,” said Wawan.
Amidst complex global challenges, leadership with a long-term vision and a collaborative approach is urgently needed. Dewi’s initiative to encourage the total digitalization of the UI Alumni Association while empowering the potential of alumni as a whole reflects the spirit of independent contribution that aligns with the direction of national development.
With a strong foundation in innovation, transparency, and empowerment, Dewi brings not only ideas but also new energy to the UI Alumni Association (Alumni Association of Indonesia), enabling her to emerge as a strategic force supporting the nation’s progress. This year’s Alumni Association of Indonesia (Alumni UI) election is a crucial opportunity for all UI alumni to elect leaders ready to accelerate change.
