Dewi Puspitorini Launches UI Connect to Strengthen Alumni Network
Jakarta – The University of Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI) has again taken a strategic step in strengthening togetherness and collaboration among alumni. One of the latest initiatives launched by Dr. Dewi Puspitorini, MARS, is UI Connect. A digital platform designed to connect alumni across faculties, generations, and professions in a more inclusive and modern way.
Through UI Connect, Dr. Dewi presents a digital breakthrough that serves as a foundation for strengthening the global alumni network. This initiative aligns with her vision to build ILUNI UI as a large home for alumni who are united, progressive, and capable of making real contributions to their alma mater and the nation.
“UI Connect exists as a bridge to facilitate interaction, collaboration, and synergy across fields. I believe that the strength of UI alumni lies in togetherness and mutual support in various sectors, both nationally and internationally,” said Dr. Dewi.
In its implementation, UI Connect offers several superior features, such as an integrated digital alumni directory to strengthen professional networks, thematic forums based on interests and professions to expand networks, a collaborative channel for social and entrepreneurial projects, and integrated information on scholarships, job openings, and research opportunities.
The Chairman of the Alumni Association (ILUNI) of the Faculty of Medicine, UI, Dr. Wawan Mulyawan, assessed UI Connect as an effective innovation to meet alumni needs in the era of digital transformation.
“This will make it easier for alumni to connect with each other and contribute to both their alma mater and the nation. UI Connect is a concrete example of adaptive and visionary leadership,” he said.
Similarly, the Secretary General of ILUNI UI, Ahmad Fitrianto, emphasized that UI Connect also strengthens ILUNI UI’s position within the HIMPUNI network and its collaboration with the government.
“With UI Connect, ILUNI UI is increasingly ready to collaborate in supporting the nation’s strategic agenda, from strengthening digital innovation, developing superior human resources, to contributing to Indonesian alumni diplomacy internationally,” he explained.
The launch of UI Connect is not just a technological innovation, but also a momentum to strengthen alumni solidarity in the era of globalization. With broad support, this initiative is believed to be able to establish ILUNI UI as a modern alumni organization that is not only strong domestically but also relevant and influential globally.
The launch of UI Connect by Dr. Dewi Puspitorini marks a significant transformation for ILUNI UI in responding to the needs of the times, by providing a digital platform that strengthens alumni networking, collaboration, and contributions in various fields. This innovation expands the strategic role of UI alumni on the national and global stage, in line with the goal of realizing Indonesia Emas 2045.
