Jakarta – The 2025 election for the University of Indonesia Alumni Association (IAU) is a crucial moment in determining the future direction of the alumni organization. One candidate with widespread support is Dr. Dewi Puspitorini, MARS, who presents a vision for inclusive, collaborative, and modern leadership.
Using the tagline “U&I Guyub, U and I become Us,” Dr. Dewi emphasized that ILUNI UI must be a united, progressive, and inclusive organization with real contributions to alumni, the alma mater, and the nation, in line with the ideals of Indonesia Emas 2045.

First, the total digitalization of the ILUNI UI system to provide transparent, fast, and accountable services. Second, strengthening the global alumni network as a form of Indonesian alumni diplomacy on the international stage.
Third, the sustainable empowerment of alumni, especially related to welfare and health. Fourth, a concrete contribution to supporting a healthier Indonesia through community-based health programs. Fifth, women’s empowerment, starting from the UI alumni community, aims to strengthen women’s strategic role in society.
“UI has shaped my personality and character, and now it’s time for me to give back. I believe the strength of UI alumni lies in collaboration across faculties, generations, and professions,” said Dr. Dewi.
The Chairperson of the UI Faculty of Medicine Alumni Association (ILUNI), Dr. Wawan Mulyawan, described Dr. Dewi as a unifying figure capable of addressing the needs of alumni organizations in the modern era.
“She has a vision and experience that are relevant to the needs of alumni organizations today,” said Wawan.
The Secretary General of ILUNI UI, Ahmad Fitrianto, also welcomed the initiative. He assessed the importance of synergy between ILUNI UI, the Indonesian State University Alumni Association (HIMPUNI), and the government in supporting the nation’s strategic agenda.
