Dewi Puspitorini Builds a Transparent and Impactful Alumni Association through ‘Alumni UI We Care’

Jakarta – Dr. Risman Pasaribu, a member of the National KAHMI Expert Council, believes that Dr. Dewi Puspitorini is highly suitable to become Chairperson of the University of Indonesia Alumni Association (ILUNI UI) for the 2025–2028 period. He believes that in addition to her extensive experience, Dr. Dewi is also known for her honesty and transparency.

“Mbak Dewi has a high capacity and excellent ideas for developing ILUNI UI in the future, making her the only hope for me and all UI alumni,” said Dr. Risman.

This view aligns with Dewi Puspitorini’s vision and commitment, expressed during the ‘Alumni UI We Care!’ event at the IASTH Building in Central Jakarta. This event served as an important opportunity for Dewi to affirm the direction of ILUNI UI’s leadership, which is inclusive, modern, and impactful.

“Guyub is not just about togetherness, but also about the strength to move forward collectively. UI alumni must demonstrate a real role, not only on campus but also in society,” Dewi said in her statement.

In this activity, ILUNI UI was present not only as a forum for camaraderie, but also as an organization that provides direct benefits. A series of activities, including a job fair, entrepreneurship talk show, alumni MSME bazaar, and free health check-ups, demonstrated the real direction of ILUNI UI’s contribution to society.

Through the tagline “U and I Guyub, U and I become Us,” Dewi emphasized the importance of building togetherness that is realized concretely. One of her breakthroughs is digital transformation by maximizing the UI Connect platform to strengthen alumni connections across regions and countries.

“Technology should be used to bring people closer, not to limit them. With UI Connect, alumni from around the world can stay connected in one inclusive and dynamic ecosystem,” Dewi explained.

Furthermore, Dewi emphasized clean, professional, and accountable organizational governance as the key to legitimacy.

“The UI Alumni Association must be an example of a clean, open organization that has a real impact on the nation. Legitimacy is born from consistent accountability,” she emphasized.

The Chairperson of the UI Alumni Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Wawan Mulyawan, also supported Dewi. He assessed Dewi’s ability to create a relevant alumni organization in an era of rapid change.

“Dewi has a clear vision and real capacity. She can combine professional competence with a collaborative spirit to unite the diversity of alumni,” said Wawan.

With a vision of transparency, a digitalization strategy, and concrete programs through Alumni UI We Care!, Dewi Puspitorini is considered ready to present a new face for the UI Alumni Association that is inclusive, modern, and has a real impact on the nation.
