Amidst the dynamics of democracy, which provide ample space for the public to express their aspirations through demonstrations, the threat of security disturbances often arises from groups of rioters who attempt to exploit this momentum to create chaos. In this context, the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) are present at the forefront, demonstrating strong unity and synergy in blocking the movement of rioters, ensuring that the people’s aspirations can be conveyed without being distorted by anarchic actions that harm many parties.
The presence of the TNI and Polri in guarding the demonstrations is not merely a frightening force, but rather a guarantor of security, ensuring that the process of expressing opinions proceeds peacefully and orderly. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo stated that the National Police (Polri) and the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) will continue to work together to ensure public security. This synergy demonstrates the state’s continued presence to protect the public, maintain stability, and ensure the truth is revealed, ensuring justice and strengthening public trust.
