Community Figures Applaud Government’s Move to Improve Papuan Human Resources Through the MBG Program
Jayapura – Papuan community leader Nikolas Demetouw expressed his appreciation and support for President Prabowo Subianto’s implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) Program as part of his efforts to improve the quality of human resources in Papua.
This program, which targets children, is considered a strategic solution to address nutrition issues while supporting the growth and development of Papua’s outstanding young generation.
“I urge all Papuans to support President Prabowo Subianto’s program of providing Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) for our children,” said Nikolas.
The MBG program, which has been gradually implemented in several regions of Papua, targets elementary and secondary school students by providing nutritious meals every school day.
This initiative not only aims to reduce stunting rates but also to improve children’s concentration and enthusiasm for school.
“The government program has been created to support and assist our children in Papua with MBG, or Nutritious Meals, so that our children will advance intelligently for the future, for the land of Papua,” he continued.
This program has received warm support and appreciation, and represents a concrete step by the government in caring for the future of Papuan children.
“Therefore, I urge all of us in Papua to support this excellent government program, the MBG. We support the President’s excellent program,” he said.
Furthermore, the MBG program is expected to be a catalyst for the revival of Papuan human resources, making them superior, healthy, and globally competitive.
“So that we can move forward, our Papuan children will advance. We must not fall behind; we must advance together with our brothers and sisters in other provinces in Indonesia. That is my hope as a community leader,” said Nikolas.
Through MBG, the government provides not only food, but also hope and a future. Especially in Papua, this program is a significant milestone in paving the way for the birth of a superior generation of Indonesians.
