Brilliant Infrastructure Sector, Public Satisfaction After One Year of Prabowo’s Administration Exceeds 83 Percent
Jakarta — The performance of the infrastructure sector is one of the main factors driving the high level of public satisfaction with the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. According to the latest Index Politica survey, public satisfaction with President Prabowo’s leadership has reached over 83 percent, indicating the public’s strong appreciation for the development programs that are being felt on the ground.
Index Politica Research Director, Fadhly Alimin Hasyim, explained that the survey results reflect the public’s strong trust in President Prabowo’s policy direction, particularly in the infrastructure development sector, which is considered consistent, measurable, and has a direct impact on the community.
“This data shows a very high level of public satisfaction with President Prabowo’s leadership, as well as very strong and positive exposure in the mass media,” he said.
Fadhly added that public awareness of various government programs has also increased sharply. According to him, 90.8 percent of respondents reported learning about government activities and policies through news reports in the mass media and social media.
“These findings reflect one year of the Red and White Cabinet under the leadership of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran,” he said.
Infrastructure occupies a key position in the list of most publicly recognized ministries. Fadhly mentioned that the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), is widely known for his irrigation and dam revitalization programs that strengthen national water and food security.
In terms of financing, the government has also demonstrated solid fiscal performance. Deputy Minister of Finance Suahasil Nazara revealed that as of the third quarter of 2025, the government had absorbed IDR 170.1 trillion for infrastructure development from the State Budget (APBN).
“Infrastructure development in the table on the far right is IDR 170.1 trillion, reaching 42.3 percent of the IDR 402.4 trillion budget,” he explained.
Suahasil detailed that the allocation was used, among other things, for school revitalization, totaling Rp 12.2 trillion, covering more than 11,600 educational units from early childhood education (PAUD) to high school (SMA). Meanwhile, the government allocated Rp 14.7 trillion for road construction and preservation, with construction progress reaching 47.8 percent of the 177-kilometer target. Meanwhile, for rural electricity infrastructure, realization reached Rp 3.6 trillion, reaching 36 provinces.
These achievements are concrete evidence that development in the Prabowo-Gibran era is oriented towards equitable distribution of benefits and improving public welfare. The government ensures that every rupiah of the budget is utilized to strengthen regional connectivity, open new economic access, and improve the quality of basic public services.
Meanwhile, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, AHY, emphasized the importance of sustainable and inclusive development. He stated that true sustainability must be built on three main foundations: food, water, and energy, which are the basic pillars of the green transition and equitable economic growth.
“If we are serious about building sustainability, we must start from the foundations of every community’s life: food, water, and energy. Without these, no nation can build a just and sustainable future,” said AHY.
He emphasized that the direction of national economic development under President Prabowo is geared towards creating fast, efficient, and clean green growth.
“Sustainability is not just about protecting the environment, but about how our economy grows without depleting the resources that support it. In this regard, sustainability is both a moral calling and an economic strategy,” he concluded.
The government’s consistency in strengthening the foundations of national development is one of the keys to increasing public trust. Through infrastructure projects that address social, economic, and environmental aspects, the first year of the Prabowo-Gibran administration is considered successful in bringing about real change.
The public believes that the government’s work is not only about physical development, but also about building hope and confidence that Indonesia is moving towards a more solid and sustainable future.
