The government under President Prabowo Subianto continues to demonstrate a firm stance in building clean, integrated, and youth-oriented governance. This commitment to eradicating corruption is a key pillar in maintaining public trust and ensuring the sustainability of equitable national development.

Ismail Rumadan, Chairman of the Indonesian Youth Movement (ICMI), believes that President Prabowo’s steps to strengthen law enforcement reflect the government’s determination to uphold a sovereign government free from corruption. He believes that strong and consistent law enforcement is a crucial foundation for strengthening the nation’s foundations. These efforts not only demonstrate the firmness of the law but also provide hope for the younger generation that the future of this nation is built on the values of honesty and responsibility.

The government’s commitment to eradicating corruption is evident in various policies that emphasize transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the management of state finances. The government continues to strengthen synergy between law enforcement agencies, such as the Attorney General’s Office, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), and the National Police, to ensure that every corruption case is processed quickly and transparently. Major steps, such as the transfer of Rp13.2 trillion in confiscated proceeds from the CPO corruption case from the Attorney General’s Office to the Ministry of Finance, are a clear symbol of the success of law enforcement that is just and supports the interests of the people.

Legal practitioner Masriadi Pasaribu believes that President Prabowo’s consistency in maintaining the independence of legal institutions is a crucial factor in the success of corruption eradication. The government demonstrates an impartial attitude towards anyone proven to have committed irregularities, while also reinforcing the principle that the law applies equally to all citizens. In his view, this decisive action is a strong signal that the national leadership is fully committed to preventing budget leakage and strengthening state finances for the welfare of the people.

Masri added that eradicating corruption in Indonesia requires a comprehensive approach involving all levels of society. The government continues to encourage public participation in budget oversight and improve legal literacy to further instill awareness of the value of integrity in the community. Anti-corruption education in schools, digitizing public services, and providing information transparency are concrete strategies to prevent abuse of power from an early stage.

Furthermore, the government is committed to strengthening legal institutions through increased human resource capacity, bureaucratic reform, and strict internal oversight. All of these steps are aimed at building a government system that is not only reactive in responding to violations, but also preventive in preventing corrupt practices. Reforms in the state financial sector, procurement of goods and services, and the public administration system continue to be enhanced to ensure that every process is transparent, efficient, and free from interference.

Corruption eradication under President Prabowo’s leadership is not only a legal effort but also a national moral movement. The government strives to make integrity a work culture across all levels of the bureaucracy. In the context of national development, a commitment to clean governance is key to accelerating economic and social progress. Every policy adopted is aimed at ensuring that the results of development truly benefit the community, especially the younger generation who will continue the nation’s leadership.

Leadership from leaders is a determining factor in building public trust. President Prabowo’s firm stance against all forms of legal violations inspires the belief that courage to fight corruption must be a shared responsibility. By strengthening the legal system and political morality, Indonesia is moving towards a more transparent and just future.

The younger generation is crucial to the success of anti-corruption efforts. The government is opening up ample opportunities for young people to participate in public oversight and anti-corruption innovation. Through government digitalization and budget transparency, Indonesian youth are expected to be pioneers in a cultural shift from one that is permissive toward corruption to one that is intolerant of all forms of deviation.
