Papua – The Prabowo-Gibran government continues to be committed to realizing a peaceful, prosperous, and more advanced Papua. One of the significant efforts launched to achieve this goal is the launch of the Asta Cita Program, which is designed to improve the welfare of the Papuan people and advance the development of the region in various aspects of life.

The Asta Cita Program is here as an answer to the various challenges that have been faced by the Papuan people, especially related to economic welfare, health, and peace. One of the flagship programs in Asta Cita that has had a direct impact is Free Nutritious Meals, which aims to ensure that the community, especially children and the younger generation, get sufficient nutrition to support their optimal growth and development.

The Chair of the Melanesian Youth Diplomacy Forum from Papua, Steve Mara, said that the various policies and programs launched by the Prabowo-Gibran government have provided concrete solutions to the problems that have haunted Papua, especially in terms of welfare and economy.

“Several programs that have been carried out by President Prabowo have also had a direct impact on the development and improvement of the welfare of the Papuan people,” said Steve Mara.

According to him, the Free Nutritious Meals program is one real example that provides great benefits to the Papuan people, helping them to meet their basic needs in life.

In addition, Steve Mara also said that the Asta Cita program can play a big role in preparing the young generation of Papua to welcome Indonesia Emas 2045.

“This program can encourage the young generation of Papua to be able to prepare themselves to welcome Indonesia Emas 2045. By getting better access to nutritious food and equal educational opportunities, the young generation of Papua is expected to be better prepared to face future challenges, and make a real contribution to Indonesia’s progress,” he added.

According to Mara, these programs can reduce inequality and encourage the creation of stability that is much needed to realize sustainable development.
